Description of the problemHeater core clogged. Heater blows warm on passenger side, working across dash heat hets colder as it comes across to drivers side, driver side blows extremely cold. Defrost blows cold. From what i've read in jeep forums thousands of jeep owners are having this same issue. Heater core is getting clogged and affecting the heat output of jeep. Our jeep has roughly 112000 miles on and we have been having this problem since the jeep has had around 50000 miles. Jeep would not cover under warranty because we were over 36000 miles. I have blew out heater core flushing it. That helps alittle bit but heat is still no were as hot as it should be. Replacing heater core involves pulling entire dash out or cutting dash supports to remove heater core to replace just to have new heater core clog again. Something in system is causing heater cores in these jeeps to clogg ultimately causing heat and defrost not to work and blow cold air.
