Description of the problemI have notices on the jeep forums similar issues with electric window not going down. My vehicle all 4 window electronics do not work and the dealers are telling me that the tipm needs to be replaced. When reading, this seems to be a common issue that nobody seems to want to address as a common defect however its pretty wide spread. The tpim is the complete fuse system under the hood which makes no sense since it is only one portion of the entire electrical system and this part through the dealer runs about $1000 plus installation. Seems like it would be a plug and play issue but never the less the dealer say they never heard of this issue. Read the forums it seems to be a pretty consistent issue no matter what model. Yet the dealer tells you to turn the key on and off and also remove the batter cables to fix this issue. Seems like something they already already know about dont ya think?
