| Description of the problem | No incident on the road as occurred. I received a recall notice stating there is a defect related to the transmission oil cooler tube which may increase the risk of crash. I have contacted the dealer (quirk) where i purchased my jeep (brand new) on two occasions. Both times the dealer stated that there is a long wait for the part to be ordered or made and would not take action to help provide a solution to this issue. Dealer has stated that chrysler only makes one part every two weeks. I am not interested in waiting for a crash to happen but rather have my vehicle repaired safely. Is there any measure vehicle owners such as myself can take to fix our vehicles in a timely manner before safety incidents occur? Thank you for your help. |
