| Description of the problem | When i go to the gas station to fuel up, i engage the pump lock lever so the pump will fill up and shut off automatically when my gas tank is full. Unfortunately, the fuel pump disengages too late, and an unbelievably excessive amount of fuel will spurt out, cascading down the side of my vehicle. 2 different dealerships have attempted to resolve the issue, yet the problem persists. I have filled up at gas stations across no less than 10 different states - from the west coast to the northeast; with a variety of fuel pump styles; amid various temperatures; yet the only variation is the velocity with which the fuel sprays from the pump. |
