Description of the problem	Vehicle has just over 65k miles on it and has been maintained properly with regular oil changes. Ticking noise on the passenger side of the engine. Turned out the lifters and cam shaft had failed. Replaced by dealer at a total cost of just over $2400. Based on numerous jeep forum visits and research, this is a part defect in the cam lifter and is epidemic. Fca is requiring owners to pay for their poor quality parts being installed in their 3. 6l pentastar engines. Have fca issue a recall and reimburse those that have been charged to replace their faulty parts.
