| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 jeep wrangler. While operating the vehicle, an odd chemical type odor was present inside the vehicle when activating the air conditioner or heating systems. The contact indicated that the odor would blow out from the vents and was present each time the defroster was used. The vehicle was taken to ron lewis jeep (21145 rt 19, cranberry twp, pa) to be diagnosed, but the failure could not be duplicated. The dealer flushed the air conditioning system, but the failure continued to occur. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 100,000. |
