Description of the problem	The vehicle is consuming an excessive amount of oil (more than a quart per 250 miles) and is overheating when under load on long climbs. Overheating and/or excessive oil consumption causes the vehicle to go into "limp" mode which is a sudden and complete loss of power where the engine will not go over 3000 rpm. When oil level drops to about 3 quarts low, the check engine light comes on and the jeep goes into limp mode. The dealership has replaced valve tappets, the left camshaft and the left cylinder head under my chrysler "maxcare" lifetime warranty, but the problem persists. Jeep customer care is now telling me the repair may no longer be covered by my lifetime service contract (reference jeep customer care case number 32175924). The sudden loss of power when at highway speeds from overheating and/or oil loss is a safety issue.
