| Description of the problem | While driving with cruise control engaged on the highway at roughly 80mph, the cruise control kicks off. Check engine light displays and the esc light comes on. Vehicle loses power and decelerates on its own. Have to floor the gas pedal to keep the vehicle moving. Experiences momentary bursts of speed but then speed declines again although the gas pedal is still pressed to the floor. I believe this is attributed to the clockspring assembly but my vehicle was not included in the recall. Can my vin be added so i can get this issue resolved? |
