| Description of the problem | Months ago we received a notice that there was a safety recall on the transmission in our 2012 jeep wrangler. My husband took it to our local jeep dealership, [xxx] and they confirm the line had to be replaced. They said the part was on back order and it would be a month or so. They are receiving approximately one part a week and instead of repairing customers' vehicles, they are putting them on the jeep wranglers that are on their lot for sale. They do not care that they are putting their customers in danger. I contacted chrysler directly and they said that there was nothing they could do to help me. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6). |
