| Description of the problem | I recently bought this vehicle as a used car. The fuel overflow valve does not work causing gas to spill out onto the car and ground every time i fill up the car. This is obviously an environmental and fire hazard. The jeep internet forums are full of postings of the same issue with several wrangler models and years and the recommendation is to replace the filler tube containing the check valve. It is obvious that this is a defective part and the manufacturer should issue a recall and repair the problem for free. |
