| Description of the problem | Nearly every time i refuel my jk, within one second of shutting off the fuel nozzle, approximately 3-8ounces of gas is forcefully expelled from the fuel inlet on the jeep. Several hundred jk owners have reported similar problems with their jks on a number of internet fora additionally, there are several you tube videos documenting this problem. The problem spans all model years of the jk, both two and four door. The vehicle is stationary. I've reported the problem to jeep and they claim it's not their responsibility since no recall has been issued but i find this to be a safety issue and a potential hazard. |
