| Description of the problem | My gas tank overflows at the pump every time i re-fuel starting in january, 2015, 5 months after my warranty expired but with only 22,000 miles on the vehicle. The pump will shut off when full, then shortly after, overflow spills out onto the ground. The only way to prevent this issue is to guess when it is getting close to full and stop the pump before it is full. A significant amount of fuel splashes on me if i'm too close, on the body, bumper, and ground, causing a dangerous situation that could easily lead to a fire. |
