| Description of the problem | Recently had airbag replaced per recall. About 2 weeks before, airbag light on console now comes on intermittently, usually at lower speeds. Will go off for brief period, then alarms and illuminates again. This began with around 149,500 miles. I am original purchaser. Airbag light was doing this at time of airbag replacement. I confirmed authorized repair dept. Was aware of this, and they confirmed. Informed me to schedule followup appointment for repair. Vehicle has been involved in no accidents. Upon personal review, it is my understanding this may be a clock spring issue, as buttons on steering wheel are non-operational, except cruise control and horn. |
