| Description of the problem | I have a manual transmission and when starting from a stop in first gear the transmission will pop out of first gear and into neutral leaving you to cost until you can get it back into gear. This occurs randomly and with no warnings. After the first time the frequency increases until the issue is fixed. The problem can be corrected by replacing the appropriate synchro. When pulling out into heavy traffic this could be very dangerous. |
