| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 jeep wrangler. The contact stated when accelerating from a stand still and taking the vehicle from neutral to first gear, the shifter pops of out first and back into neutral. The vehicle is a manual transmission and the contact has to hold the shifter in first gear to prevent it from popping back into neutral. This is a safety issue because the vehicle slows and jerks with traffic coming from behind. Two separate dealers stated that they cannot duplicate the problem and nothing is wrong with the vehicle. The failure mileage was 4 and the current mileage was 15000. |
