| Description of the problem | My dealership refuses to honor a recall for the fuel spillback problem and wants me to pay in excess of $300 for the part and repair. This is the problem with fueling and the pump shutoff does not engage, thus overflowing and spilling gasoline out of the fuel door. This of course happens when the car is stationary. I wasn't allowed to order the mopar part number cnnnx321ac to repair the problem myself because the vendor said it can only be purchased by the dealer because it is a "recalled" part. I need to know how i can file a claim to be reimbursed if i have to pay the dealership or how i can order the part through a vendor who would allow me to purchase the part. Please respond with a solution. Thank you. |
