| Description of the problem | Gas will overflow at very fill up, especially when using the auto-fill lever latch on the pump handle. Many times, the gas has sprayed and soaked the attendant filling my car (i live in nj and cannot fill the vehicle myself). The is an extreme safety hazard as many gallons have been spilled during single incidents. Most releases are approximately a 1/10 of a gallon or less but once a month or so, it is very severe and will continue to spray gas until someone manually releases the lever. *js |
