Description of the problem	Tl* the contact called on behalf of his daughter who owns a 2010 jeep wrangler. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving at various speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the number 3 spark plug wire and egr valve needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. South county dodge chrysler jeep ram (7127 s lindbergh blvd, saint louis, mo 63125, (888) 486-1749) was contacted and informed the contact that the vin was not under recall. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic for a second diagnostic test. The contact was informed that the egr needed to be reprogrammed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
