| Description of the problem | On approximately 13 april 2014, my 2010 jeep wrangler unlimited air bag warning light was coming on and off. Turns out to be a bad clock spring in the steering wheel. This will cause the air bag to fail to deploy in an accident, how is this not again a recall issue. They did extend warranty on this on the 2007's but not other years. The dealership is telling me it is out of warranty. To me this is outrageous, this is a safety issue and could cause people to die in a vehicle accident. Just do a google search under jeep jk wrangler bad clock spring or air bag warning light and you can easily see this is a wide spread problem. This is issue needs to be addressed. *tt |
