Description of the problem | Driving on side road made left turn and heard audible chime like seat belt warning. Looked at dash and see airbag warning lit up. Take to dealer as well as seek information on internet. Find multiple issues for clock spring signal failure. There is only a tsb issued for the right hand drive wranglers from 2007-2011. The part # is identical for right and left hand drive vehicles. How can the recall only affect the rhd? 5440 cars were subject to recall. How many lhd wranglers are there? I now have to pay $500 +++ to have a repair done that must be done by a dealer. This needs equal treatment to chrysler recall m31. |
