Description of the problem	When putting gas in the tank, gasoline sprays out of the filler tube and splashes gas on me, the side of the vehicle and onto the ground. This occurs everytime i fill the tank. I have tried different gas stations and the problem still occurs. The first couple of times this happened, gasoline had sprayed out of the filler tube and onto me and my clothes. Now when i fill the tank, i must stand upwind and away from the filler tube to avoid getting sprayed with gas. This problem needs to be addressed! The same defect was reported in the 2007 & 2008 jeeps. It would appear that the same defect is now being reported multiple times for the 2009 model. Gasoline that is sprayed onto people and the ground is a fire hazard! I refuse to let my wife and kids put gas in the jeep, in fear that they will be soaked in gasoline. I have contacted my local jeep dealership and was told that no recall and no safety bulletins have been issued for the 2009 model. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
