| Description of the problem | At approximately 51 mph and after passing over a rough spot on the highway surface the vehicle started to extremely vibrate and shimmy. Maintaining control was difficult and necessitated an immediate reduction in speed. On an approximate 50 mile trip this was repeated four times while on an interstate. This was much more violent than a blow out, tire separation, or an unbalanced tire. This malady could easily result in a fatality. I've logged approximately 2million miles driving and i must add this situation is very serious. |
