| Description of the problem | My daughter was leaving a friends home who lives in the hills above malibu beach california. The street she was traveling down is tramonto drive. She got no further than 4 houses away, and being tramonto is a hill with some mild twists and turns, she went to brake. There were no brakes. She tried to press harder on the brake peddle and the car wouldn't stop. She hit a mailbox as well as a parked car as she had to apply the emergency brake to get her car to stop. There was a witness who was right behind her who could tell that something was happening with the car. Our daughter pulled the er brake, and skid hitting and taking out two mailboxes and the bumper of a car. The total distance she had driven.... 4 houses... The brake peddle wouldn't depress. |
