| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon. The contact stated that the rear passenger seat belts were defective and would remain locked when secured. The front seat belts experienced the exact same failure two years prior. The dealer was aware of the issue and contacted the division manager on the contacts behalf. The contact was awaiting a response. The vehicle was not repaired. The current mileage was 47,075 and the failure mileage was approximately 15,000. The consumer stated the passenger seat belt would inadvertently lock for no reason and it would require the belt to be disconnected and completely returned to the retractor to release the lock.
