| Description of the problem | Issue with fuel spillage when filling up the vehicle. Apparently there is fuel tank inlet check valve that has an issue. Every time i try to fill the vehicle up with gas it overflows... The pump clicks off as it should but there is an overflow of gas that comes out of the vehicle after the pump clicks off. I've had to stop filling my vehicle up and go to only putting $30 or so in to keep it from overflowing. Thought it was just me until i had someone else try filing it up and it did the same thing. Found out a friend of mine who also has a jeep (2 years older than mine) had the same problem and ended up having to have his fuel tank replaced. |
