| Description of the problem | The last three or so times i've filled the vehicle with gas, the automatic shut-off on the pump does not engage until fuel has overflowed the tank and spilled onto the outside of the vehicle and the ground. This happens regardless of which fuel station i go to. Each incident has happened at a fuel station where i used to be able to fill my tank without any problem. I understand that an investigation is already open regarding this issue. I would think a recall is in order considering the proximity of the fuel spill to hot brake pads and other potential sources of ignition. |
