Description of the problem	Drove over snow & snow knocked gasoline vapor canister off causing fuel spillage that continued until replaced. Only held on by plastic & easily knocked off. Called dealership & scheduled appointment. Was very careful & only drove home & then to dealership being very careful. Adjacent gasoline tank skid plate was not even marked. Unfortunately, skid plate does not cover canister. New vehicles include a skid plate for the canister. No doubt would have been a fire if exhaust had been hot!
