| Description of the problem | On every fill up for gas since january after i or an attendant who fills the gas tank gets splashed/soaked with gas. Upon removing the nozzle the gas 'burps' back and sprays gasoline out of the tank. The gas splash started out very small and not as frequently but now it rushes out like a waterfall and every fill up. Regardless if you pump the gas slowly by hand or use the auto lever on the pump it still happens-everytime. I am only using 87 octane gas as per the instruction manual and this happens at every gas station (mobil, shell, sunoco, texaco, global, irving, citgo, etc.) my local gas stations are sick of me coming in because they always have to put out kitty litter to mop up the mess. |
