| Description of the problem | Walked to vehicle, pressed unlock on key fob, all electrical seemed to go off at once. Horn blaring, lights flashing, windshield wipers going, and windshield washer fluid spraying out. Tried pressing all buttons on key fob to shut it off, didn't work. Out key in ignition and turned it. Did nothing. After a couple of minutes it quit on its own. Same thing happened two other times today. Google shows same symptoms with all jeeps and other chrysler vehicles 2007 - present. Issue appears to be faulty tipm module. Contacted dealer and chrysler/jeep. Same answer from both, no recall. So i pay to get it fixed, and hope the replacement part doesn't reap out. |
