Description of the problem	Air bag light activated with chime for several cycles. Now air bag light stays on. Sometimes flickers / flashes, but mostly stays lit. This was on smooth pavement at highway speed. 'can't understand why the system failed or why the local dealer wants so much to repair an obvious safety item that shouldn't have gone bad.
