| Description of the problem | Air bag light stays lit, with intermittent chime. I took my car to the dealer who told me that i had a faulty clockspring and it needed to be replaced. I asked if it was under warranty or under an active recall. The dealer informed me that the 2007 was recalled for this issue, but the 2008 or later models were not, despite having the exact same part and issue. This issue also affects the horn, as the function of the horn properly working is now intermittent as well. Result of this problem - no airbag and no horn. From what i have read online - a very common problem among jeep owners. Please help jeep owners with this common issue and make chrysler recall this part. |
