Description of the problem	My airbag light came on along with a chime. Now the light and chime happen intermittently. This is the second time for this issue on my jeep. The first time i brought it to a dealer and they replaced the clockspring at a cost of over $400. 00. This part is essential to the safety of myself and my passengers and needs to be replaced again. Meanwhile, the rhd and 2007 wranglers have had a recall issued for this issue. Well, i live in a dusty part of the country and in the summer drive with the window down a lot, just as the mail carriers with the rhd jeeps do. I actually purchased my jeep in november of 2007. It is a 2008 my but was made in 2007, immediately after those 2007 lhd jeeps that received the recall. I do not understand how this recall was not expanded to cover all wranglers that it affects. From what i have read the air bags will not operate properly when this issue is present. They could not deploy when necessary and/or deploy when not necessary. This is unacceptable for me to have this condition in my vehicle putting any passengers at risk. I will be having it replaced either way, again.
