Description of the problem	I was going straight at a 4 way interception and i put first gear and a heavy truck almost hit me with my son in the back of my vehicle. This vehicle has problems with first and third gear. It jumps from 1st gear to neutral and from third gear to neutral and now second gear jumps to neutral as well. So when my incident happened i was going straight and i could not even put second gear and the truck almost hit me. Thank god nothing happen but i am writing this report because it could happen to anybody else or it could happen to me again. And just to take it to the jeep chrysler dealer they are charging money just to check the problem. I think is a recall and this needs to be address. I spoke to [xxx] from the corporate chrysler office and he was not very helpful in regards to this issue. He seem not to care what the incident could of been. This is a 2007 jeep wrangler 6 speed manual. I am very disappointed with the jeep wranglers. I got this truck because it was recommended by a friend of mine and since i have had problems and unfortunately this could lead to something fatal. I think they had this problem for a while now but nobody has ever file a complain. And i feel for the rest of the wrangler owners who are experiencing the same problems and one day could lead to something very unexpected. I just hope that filing this report will help nhtsa realizes that the jeep wranglers have been having issues with manual transmission and somebody who can make jeep chrysler listen to my story and not ignore it.
