Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2007 jeep wrangler. While the contact was driving approximately 25 mph, unexpectedly the instrument panel warning indicator displayed that the gear was in the drive one range, when actually the gear selector was in the drive position. The contact expressed his concern that the transmission could have possibly slipped out of gear. Also, the gear selector would not shift normally into the drive one and drive two gear. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the shifter assembly was replaced. Recently, the identical failures recurred and the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer.
