Description of the problem	Vehicle was just purchased certified pre-owned. Vehicle came with a full tank of gasoline. While re-filling at a gas station for the first time, the tank filled normally. As soon as the fuel reached the nozzle end i heard the nozzle click off. Then approximately half a gallon of fuel sprayed out the end of the fill tube. The fuel ran all over the side of the jeep and also sprayed onto my pant leg and shoe. I have since looked this issue up online in jeep owner's forums and found this to be a huge problem among so many of these models. Not only is this a tremendous safety issue, but also an environmental issue as well. It is obvious that the tank is not vented properly. This issue needs immediate attention before a tragic event occurs. Earlier in this form i was asked if a fire occurred i answered no. Thank god this time there was not. This defect not unlike throwing lit matches at a gas pump.
