Description of the problemEvery time the vehicle is filled with gasoline, gasoline exits the tank through the filler tube and splashes on the ground leaving a potential for fire. This happens at pumps at different stations in different states, different amounts of fuel within before fueling, and regardless of placement of the filling handle of the pump. The vehicle worked as it should for the first 25k miles and will not fill correctly since that time without leaving fuel on the ground. This is my second 2007 jeep wrangler and both have had this problem at approximately the same mileage. Each vehicle was filled with the correct gasoline as prescribed by the manual and all maintenance was done at a 5 star jeep dealer on both. There appears to be a defect in the design of the gas system.
