| Description of the problem | Takata recall took my car in to jeep (santa monica) on thursday september 1st. Did not mention the recall. Tried to trade car in on sunday to toyota, was told about the recall. Went back to jeep on tuesday september 6th. The clockspring issue was taken care of, however, i was told to wait for the passenger airbag recall. Recall has been issued for over two months and has not been resolved. It is not only an inconvenience for someone who needs to trade their car for another vehicle, but it is a danger to myself every time i step into my car. I now can not in good conscience take another passenger in the vehicle with me, which is causing a disturbance to my life and my work. Jeep continues to refuse to repair the airbag, replace the car, or refund my purchase price minus depreciation. |
