Description of the problem	The vehicle began shaking when brakes were applied, more violently the faster the vehicle was going. I had this checked at a brake shop first, where they said the pads were fine, but the rotor was warped. I then took it to the tire shop to have the tires rotated and balanced, although this was also just done a few months prior. I was instructed to take it to the dealer since the vehicle has only 23000 miles on it. Not only did my dealer not warranty the problem, they wanted to put a "make it new kit" on for $355, perform differential service $121, drain and refill rear differential fluid $121, and rotate and balance tires (because they listened to nothing i told them) for $49. 95 for a grand total of $671. 90. When i told him i would take it elsewhere, i was charged for the estimate $24. 95. I was also told by my service advisor that he or his manager saw no reports on this web site. Hmmmm.... Mine is the 6th such case on here. I just wonder how many there are that have not been reported? This is my fourth wrangler and i've never been treated so rudely in my life. It's a shame the chrysler jeep wrangler cannot stand up to the true american jeep, because they've gone to using cheap faulty parts!!! Updated 04/23/08. *lj
