| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 jeep wrangler. The contact stated that she noticed a hard vibration under the clutch, the clutch made a popping sound when she switched gears and once in sixth gear, the rpms fluctuated. Furthermore, there were times when the vehicle seemed as if it would stall. The contact noticed these problems when the vehicle reached a speed of 60 mph. She took the vehicle to a local mechanic who could not diagnose the problem. The contact believed that the failure was related to recall 06v147000 (power train:clutch assembly). The failure mileage was 40,476. The current mleage was approximately 40,800. |
