Description of the problem	Every time we fill up the fuel tank the fuel spills over and runs down the side of the vehicle causing a stain on the paint we have now resorted to listening to the fuel as it fills in an attempt to stop it and that only works once in a while we have put the pump on slow but this does no good either i have read many jeep forums and this is a common problem not only does it waste fuel but it is an air pollution issue and a fire safety hazard most of the forums say the fuel tank needs to be replaced due to a sticking valve but that is very expensive (this is what some have had to do to fix the problem) also i own two jeep grand cherokees and have never had this problem with either of them so i was surprised when this happened on the wrangler as it was the most recent purchase if it is a defect in design i think chrysler should fix it at no charge to the consumer before someone is hurt. *tt
