| Description of the problem | Since i've bought my wrangler in december 2009 the gas tank will overflow and spill out enough gas to cover the vehicle on the side below the gas cap and spill a puddle on to the ground. I've read numerous complaints about this issue and there is no recall currently out there for it. I feel this is a hazard because it means something is being left open inside the tank to allow the gas to overflow outof the fill tube. On top of this every time i fill the vehicle up im spilling gas onto the ground which is both an environmental concern and a safety issue. |
