Description of the problem	When filling up at the gas station gas spews out of the tank when it nears full splashing everything within a foot of the car including at times myself. This happens each and every time i try to fill up. I always have to try to stop the pump before it's full. If i so choose to try to fill the tank i have to try to listen to determine when the gas might spew back out on me and let me tell you that's definitely not a fool proof method as i've been sprayed with gas numerous times trying this method. If i try to fill the tank and stand away from the tank so as to miss the spray then gas spews everywhere; on the ground, back on the gas pump itself, and down the side of my car; which by the way damages the paint. This is a huge danger not only to myself but to others as well. I can't believe that chrysler offered a recall on other years with the exact same problem but not on this model year. They've acknowledged that this is an issue in their jeeps so why not offer a recall on all years with this problem? I'm sorely disappointed that chrysler cares so little for their customers safety and even the safety of the general public since they could be affected by the spewing gas as well. We shouldn't have to pay for a manufacturer's defect. *tt
