Description of the problem	On my 2006 jeep wrangler sport, the gas tank overflows fuel every single time i have to refill the tank. The tank apparently does not vent properly, which causes the auto-shut-off feature on gas pumps to fail until the tank overflows, spitting gasoline out (over a foot from the side of the vehicle at times), hitting the individual filling up the tank and making a mess of the side of the vehicle. This fuel overflow issue occurs 100% of the time. Upon speaking with the dealership, i was told that they will not warranty this, but that it is a "common" problem among 1997-present wranglers. Chrysler issued a recall for this problem on 2007-later wrangler, but refuses to take responsibility for the 2006 and older models. Reviewing both local and national jeep internet forums, i have seen forum threads on this topic with literally hundreds of 1997-2006 jeep wrangler owners claiming the same problem as i am having with my 2006 wrangler. The cost to replace the fuel tank, the only solution, is at a cost of $1100-$1200. This is a very serious problem and needs to be addressed immediately. To date, i have not had any personal injury or damage, as asked below, but that is only a matter of time!
