| Description of the problem | Every time i fill up with gas, the auto shutoff doesn't work and spills gas all over my jeep and the ground. It happens regardless of gas station, temperature, how far the nozzle is pushed into the filler, etc. It happens every single time i fill up. It has done this for no apparent reason, since the day i bought it with only 19k miles on it. I checked the vent line going from the tank to the filler neck, and its fine. Eventually the gas has started to wear away the paint finish, and the finish on the flare. Not to mention a hazardous material spill. |
