Description of the problem	2006 jeep wrangler x i recently purchased this vehicle used with 58,000 miles. I discovered a very dangerous condition when filling up with gas. The gas flow to the tank does not properly turn off when the tank becomes full. The first time this happened to me i was sprayed with gasoline on my chest ... Nearly missing my face. I thought this was a fluke but it happened again the next time i filled up. I've learned to only fill up the tank half way. I did an internet search and found that this is a very common problem with newer jeep wranglers. It is also an environmental issue as well because gasoline just travels down the jeep and into the ground. I have learned through jeep internet forums that this is a very common issue with jeep wranglers. This issue must be addressed by chrysler through a vehicle recall. There will definitely be deaths/injuries from this if it is not properly addressed by chrysler.
