| Description of the problem | When i fill my 2006 jeep wrangler with fuel it sprays out of the tank back towards the pump before shutting off, every time. It overfills the tank. It's discoloring the paint on my vehicle, it causes a gas spill on the pavement, and it often gets fuel on my hand and clothes. I have had the vehicle since it had 19,000 miles on it. It now has 42,000, and the problem continues. A couple thousand miles ago i installed a 1" body lift as i had heard that sometimes fixes the problem, and the issue continues the same as before. This is an extremely common and well talked about complaint in the jeep community, and as far as i'm concerned, it's a safety hazard. For incident date i'm just going to select today, as that's the most recent time it's happened. |
