| Description of the problem | Gas tank overfills during fillup... Automatic gas shut off fails and gas spills on the ground (about 1 cup or so each instance). This occurs every time, harming the environment and presenting a fire danger. Other jeep wrangler owners on jeepforum. Com have the same issue. The fault apparently is the roll over check valve, an integral part of the gas tank. So the fix is to replace the tank. But the faulty part is also replaced in this process. |
