| Description of the problem | 2006 jeep wrangler unlimited 4. 0 l when fueling this vehicle, fuel spills out of the filler neck every time. This occurs even when the fuel nozzle is not depressed to full volume. Fuel can slosh several feet from the filler neck. This is a potential safety hazard for several reasons. I have had fuel spilled onto my skin and nearly into my eyes. There is also significant fire hazard due to the pressurized nature and velocity of the fuel coming up the neck. Please investigate, this is a common problem on this make and model. I purchased this jeep in april 2009 and it has occurred every fill. |
