| Description of the problem | Ever since i bought my 2006 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon, i have problems when refueling the car. I bought my car second-hand. If i leave the gas nozzle on 'auto', the auto-shutoff of the pump shuts off too late, resulting in a gush of gasoline squirting out of the tank. The only way to prevent any spilling of gas during fuelling is to listen to the noise that the escaping air out of the tank makes, or guesstimating roughly how much gas the car needs, then manually very slowly continue to fill up. |
