| Description of the problem | At around the 50k mileage mark, fuel would gush out when filling up the tank. Tried different gas stations, old and brand new pumps, all resulted in gas gushing out as the pump turned off. Chrysler-jeep service replaced the fuel filler tube. Topped off the gas tank after the "fix", seemed good. Let the tank go down to less than 1/4 then filled the tank and the gas gushed out yet again! This is both a safety and environment issue. Please request jeep to find a real fix for this and issue a recall. |
